Please be advised that all dry hire customers are required to read and sign the Hire Agreement prior to the commencement of the hire period. A copy of the Hire Agreement will be attached to your invoice for your review and signature.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled hire start date incur no charge. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the start date may be subject to a cancellation fee. Please note that no refunds will be issued for early returns unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Hirer Responsibilities: The Hirer agrees to use the machine solely for its intended purpose and in accordance with manufacturer specifications; ensure that only trained, competent, and licensed operators handle the equipment; perform daily checks including fluids and track tension; promptly report any faults or damage to Feild Civil; take full responsibility for the machine throughout the hire period; and refrain from lending, leasing, or relocating the equipment without prior written consent.
Damage, Cleaning, and Loss: The Hirer is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the equipment during the hire period. Charges will apply for repairs beyond normal wear and tear, a cleaning fee of $75.00 plus GST if the machine is returned beyond a basic clean, and for any missing accessories or attachments. The owner is not liable for downtime or losses caused by equipment failure.
Insurance & Liability: The Hirer is responsible for insuring the equipment during the hire period, if required, and assumes full responsibility for public liability and any property damage. The Owner accepts no liability for third-party damage, injuries sustained during use, or any consequential loss or downtime.
Payment Terms: A deposit of no less than 50% of the total purchase price is required prior to the collection or delivery of the equipment. Depending on the circumstances, full payment in advance may be requested before release of the machine. The total payment amount for the hire of the equipment is as set forth in the invoice provided by the Owner. The Hirer agrees to pay the invoiced amount in accordance with the terms specified therein. Any additional costs or fees incurred during the hire period will be itemized and invoiced separately.
Owner Responsibilities
The Owner shall:
• Ensure that the PosiTrack Compact Track Loader is maintained in a safe, reliable, and serviceable condition in compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations.
• Provide comprehensive basic safety and operational instructions to the operator, when requested, to ensure proper and safe use of the equipment.
• Remain accessible during regular business hours to provide timely support, guidance, and assistance as needed throughout the period of equipment use.
All customers must present a valid driver’s license at the time of hire and must be mentally fit to operate machinery safely.
